The 9th edition of the Geneva PeaceTalks will be held on Tuesday 21 September 2021, the International Day of Peace. The event will be livestreamed online from the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

This year’s edition of the Geneva PeaceTalks is organized under the theme of “Recovering Better for an Equitable and Sustainable World”. Through short talks, eleven speakers from different walks of life and different parts of the globe will tell their stories addressing different aspects of the overall theme. Each speaker will share their tangible learnings and ideas drawn from their experiences in the fields of climate change, dance, education, health, music and peacebuilding.

ICIP Co-Chair Yves Daccord and Head of Secretariat Hiba Qasas will take the stage to share their personal experiences, how and why they are working to improve how peace is made.
