550+ Israeli and Palestinian Leaders
Uniting for a Shared Future
Uniting for a Shared Future (USF) is a high-level, discreet coalition of over 550 Israeli and Palestinian leaders from Israel, the West Bank, Gaza, and the diaspora, including former ministers, diplomats, parliamentarians, senior security officials, tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, journalists, and civil society figures.
Formed in response to October 7 and the war in Gaza, USF emerged from a shared recognition that the current trajectory is unsustainable. It acts through pragmatic engagement to pave the way for a just political resolution within a broader regional framework.
OUR COMMON PRINCIPLES
Charter for a Shared Future
The USF coalition is guided by five fundamental principles:
Principle 1
Mutual recognition
and acknowledgment
Of the right to self-determination, statehood and independence.
Principle 2
Dignity and equality
Where all people have the opportunity to live a life of dignity free from fear and inequality.
Principle 3
Security and safety
Where people’s rights to security and to live free from fear are mutually supported and guaranteed.
Principle 4
Agency and inclusion
Where all Israelis and Palestinians are able to play a role in shaping a just and sustainable peace.
Principle 5
Trust through healing
Where we acknowledge, and address, the injustices, grievances and fears so that future generations can be free to live as closely and cooperatively as possible.

THE USF STRUCTURE
A Framework for Effective Action
USF operates within a robust framework designed to foster collaboration and effective action, with two uni-national and one binational working group, and three specialized tracks. P4P convenes its binational efforts and acts as the secretariat, and midwife of the USF effort.

Momentum and Milestones
In March 2024, in the midst of unprecedented levels of suffering and insecurity, a coalition of 70 Israeli, Palestinian, and international leaders from diverse sectors and political backgrounds has come together, committed to a new path forward.
Through a consultative process, facilitated by P4P, the coalition enshrined five core principles (mutual recognition of the right of both peoples to self-determination and statehood, dignity, safety and security, agency, and trust through healing) in a common charter, establishing the core principles of the Uniting for a Shared Future (USF) coalition.
In July 2024, the coalition convened once more time, bringing 90 leaders and experts in their respective field to join the common effort. During the convention, a framework for action and partnership was established, translating the five core principles of the USF charter into concrete messages, joints initiatives and actions:
1. Ending the War
Pushing for an immediate ceasefire and the release of hostages.
2. Political Peace Process
Engaging global and regional powers to apply diplomatic pressure for the resumption of principled peace talks on the basis of the internationally-accepted two-state solution.
3. Economic and Social Recovery
Supporting recovery, economic regrowth, and critical infrastructure in Gaza and the West Bank.
4. Public Opinion and Narratives
Supporting efforts to shift public opinion towards peace.
5. International Engagement
Engaging in international and regional diplomacy, and forming a Global Solidarity Group of leaders to advocate for the resumption of a peace process.
Since that time, USF has convened the coalition regularly (with five convenings so far – four in Geneva and one in Berlin) and also held events in Israel and Palestine. As the coalition grew exponentially, it has also increasingly produced policy outputs and recommendations that have fed into work around the New York Declaration and the Trump Peace Plan for Gaza, while keeping the door open to dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians.
On February 18th, 2026, at the invitation of the UK presidency, P4P Founding Executive Director, Hiba Qasas, and fellow USF coalition member, Nadav Tamir, briefed the UN Security Council during its open debate on the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question, with a focus on Gaza and the West Bank.
